KM: Chapter 20
by 🐳 MoonyThe surprise on Ji An's face slowly turned into terror, his gaze filled with shattered tears, like a bead on the verge of breaking, fragile and vulnerable. This was exactly what Zhou Yin wanted. He sneered, taking out his phone from his school uniform pocket, and as soon as he unlocked it, he displayed a photo. In the photo, the figures in the shadows were not very clear, but the overlapping outlines vaguely revealed a kiss. Ji An's face, You Chen's face.
"You little wretch, what do you think the principal will do if he sees this photo?"
Ji An's tears welled up almost instantly.
"What do you want… to do?"
"What do I want to do?" Zhou Yin laughed loudly, "I don't want to do anything. I just want to confirm with you, are the people in this photo you?"
Ji An was about to lose control of his sobs. He had anticipated this, and everything he had foreseen was now happening for real. In his blurred vision, he seemed to see a massive black hole waiting to swallow him.
The stress response came at such an inopportune time that he couldn't plead; he could only cry. His tears would convey his fear, his submission, his compromise.
Zhou Yin leaned closer and asked, "Do you want me to delete it? Beg me on your knees."
Ji An blinked, his tears blurring Zhou Yin's face. He gritted his teeth so hard that his left cheek twitched. After a long silence, he lowered his head, bent his knees, and slowly knelt down.
The cold floor touched his knees, and Ji An suddenly felt a sharp pain.
Why did it hurt? Even when his hand was fractured, it didn't hurt this much.
Watching Ji An's constantly trembling shoulders, his lowered head, and the tears falling to the ground, Zhou Yin felt immensely satisfied.
Last time, after being dragged into the alley by You Chen and beaten until he couldn't get up, he had harbored hatred, waiting for this moment.
He originally wanted to threaten You Chen, but Ji An was so unlucky to run into him at this time. He suddenly felt that threatening Ji An would be a hundred times more fun than threatening You Chen.
Zhou Yin viciously kicked Ji An, causing him to fall to the ground unexpectedly, shedding even more tears.
"Stop crying, you wretch. Who are you crying for? Do you think You Chen will come now?"
Zhou Yin kicked Ji An again, saying, "Get up and kneel properly. Didn't you kneel well for You Chen last time? Hm? Isn't this a dog's instinct?"
Ji An quickly wiped away his tears, propped himself up, and knelt again in humiliation before Zhou Yin.
Zhou Yin looked at Ji An's tear-streaked face, his long eyelashes drooping, and the beautiful curve of his lips that made one's heart itch. His throat tightened, and his smile deepened.
"Since you're a dog, you must be good at licking too."
Zhou Yin bent down and pinched Ji An's chin.
"Did You Chen make you lick him? Have you slept together? You moan so loudly when kissing; do you moan even louder in bed? Does You Chen make you feel that good?"
The unbearable words attacked Ji An's mind aggressively, and he was suffocating. He was filled with fear for what was about to happen, more so than facing death.
Zhou Yin smiled and patted his face, saying, "You know how to lick, right? Lick me too."
Ji An shook his head stiffly, but Zhou Yin grabbed his hair and dragged him toward the stairs.
His scalp felt like it was being torn apart, really painful. Why did everything hurt so much today?
What was causing him this pain?
"Do you want to die?"
The voice Ji An had waited for countless times, and now desperately longed for in his current agony, fell heavily, filled with anger, as if the next moment it would strangle someone.
Zhou Yin was knocked away by a punch from You Chen, the force astonishingly strong, causing him to crash into the wall with a painful groan. He tried to get up, but You Chen stepped forward, reaching to grab his collar. Ji An bit his lip, got up from the ground, and hugged You Chen's arm, then covered You Chen's eyes with his hand, looking back at Zhou Yin, mouthing the words, "I beg you."
Zhou Yin stood up, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, gave Ji An a cold smile, turned, and quickly went downstairs.
Ji An knew he was heading to the principal's office.
"Ji An, what the hell are you doing?!"
You Chen pulled Ji An's hand away, grabbed Ji An's collar, and questioned him through gritted teeth.
He had just taken a leave of absence. The English teacher had initially refused, and it took a long time to persuade them to let him go. He hurried over as soon as he left the classroom, eager to see Ji An.
He never expected to witness such a scene, seeing Ji An kneeling in front of Zhou Yin made his brain almost explode with anger. What on earth made Ji An kneel to Zhou Yin? What was it?
Ji An's tears had finally taught him to be accommodating and to make concessions. He had learned bit by bit to coax Ji An, to feel sorry for him, to soften his stance towards Ji An.
He didn't dare to lose his temper with Ji An anymore, but Zhou Yin had just made Ji An kneel!
"Ji An! Speak to me!"
Ji An choked to the point of losing his voice, only able to shake his head while crying, then reached out to hug You Chen tightly.
He buried his face in You Chen's chest, his favorite action because it gave him a lot of security.
Though furious, You Chen instinctively opened his coat to cover Ji An. Ji An's tears soaked through his inner clothes, burning his skin.
His anger suddenly extinguished, replaced by doubled heartache and remorse.
Zhou Yin had actually made Ji An kneel.
Why, why, why.
Why make Ji An kneel, why make Ji An cry, why grab Ji An's hair, why drag Ji An.
Didn't Ji An hurt? Why did this happen?
Why wasn't he there? Why.
Why did Ji An have to suffer so much?
You Chen reached out to rub Ji An's head, his fingers trembling, his voice hoarse as he asked, "Does it hurt? Does it hurt a lot? Hm?"
Ji An could no longer hold back and began to cry loudly, nodding vigorously in You Chen's arms.
It hurts so much. You Chen, it hurts so much.
Ji An said, "You, Chen… it hurts… You, Chen… kiss me."
Kiss me.
Perhaps this is our last kiss.
"Okay. I'll kiss you, it won't hurt anymore."
You Chen lowered his head to kiss, all tears, tears everywhere.
Why was Ji An crying so hard?
Why did he also feel pain?
"You, Chen… can you… hold me… tighter?"
"Okay."
You Chen held Ji An tighter, Ji An's small body almost crushed in his embrace.
He kissed Ji An again and again, asking where it hurt. Ji An wouldn't say, he only said it hurt, so You Chen kept rubbing Ji An's head. He saw Zhou Yin grabbing Ji An's hair, it really hurt, too much.
"Good, it doesn't hurt anymore. I won't let you walk alone anymore, it doesn't hurt anymore, baby doesn't hurt anymore."
Ji An raised his head, trying hard to open his eyes wide. You Chen used his sleeve to wipe away his tears, and finally, Ji An could see You Chen's face clearly.
Then it hurt even more.
But he still looked seriously at You Chen's face, tracing every detail in his mind, every detail he had stared at for so long.
The mole at the end of You Chen's eyebrow, the scar on his temple, the faint dimples, he would never forget.
Only the warmth of You Chen's kisses, he would probably have to slowly forget.
The last kiss, the last hug, please, let it last a little longer.
A little longer.
