Xǔ Línruǎn led him to get a room together. From start to finish, she carried herself with a calm, unhurried air, with the bearing of a domineering female CEO.

Compared to her, Qí Xiǎoyuè beside her, though he had finally gotten what he wanted, still felt like something was off no matter how he thought about it.

That subtle feeling peaked on the way to the hotel, under the strange looks of the front desk ladies.

Mainly because he had acted too uselessly, trailing behind his girlfriend the whole time like a shy little wife, blushing and unable to finish a single sentence. To anyone who didn’t know better, it would look like he was the one on the bottom.

Seeing how conflicted he looked, and thinking that even now this guy was still dawdling and unable to snap out of it, Xu Linruan lightly kicked his ankle with her foot. “Why aren’t you going to take a shower yet?”

She was bad too, deliberately teasing him. Her fingers touched his forehead, and then she spoke next to his ear. “What is it? Your face is so red.”

Her boyfriend just made a small, embarrassed sound.

He thought, What else could it be?

Of course he was flushed red from holding it in.

This was his first time getting a room with his girlfriend, such a wild thing. Couldn’t he be allowed to get a little excited inside?

Xu Linruan didn’t know what he was thinking, but even if she had, she wouldn’t have cared. Qí Xiǎoyuè caught the hand she was using to tease him, practically wanting to bite it, but in the end he couldn’t bear to. He just rubbed it hard instead.

Then, carrying a chest full of frustration, he took the bath towel and slowly went to shower.

When he came out, Xu Linruan was holding her phone and texting someone. Qí Xiǎoyuè, fully dressed, sat down beside her. “Ruanruan, who are you chatting with?”

His little eyes kept sneaking glances. Water was still dripping from the ends of his hair, and Xu Linruan pushed his head away in disgust. “Stay away from me. Your hair is still dripping.”

“No, you dry my hair for me.” The young master had sharp eyes and noticed right away that the person she was chatting with was someone he didn’t recognize, so he rubbed against her arm and acted spoiled to the fullest. “Dry it for me…”

Xu Linruan was so bothered by him that she had no choice but to put down her phone and stand up to dry his hair for him.

Qí Xiǎoyuè wanted to sneak a look at who she was chatting with, but he didn’t catch the chat logs. Instead, he saw the nickname she had saved him under, Wang Ergou. Xu Linruan always felt that this guy’s style was drifting a little off course.

Xu Linruan looked over, and that guy offered her his dog head with a little expression that seemed to say he wanted kisses, wanted hugs. She couldn’t help giving that handsome face a loving smack.

The young master covered his forehead and rolled himself and the blanket to the other side. Seeing how aggrieved he looked, Xu Linruan laughed again and curled her finger at him. “Come here?”

That gesture really did look like she was calling a dog. His face darkened a little. That wicked woman was really taking him for a dog, huh?

Qí Xiǎoyuè pouted in sullen anger. Fine if she didn’t kiss him, but she even flicked his forehead. He wasn’t that stupid. He wasn’t going to offer himself up for her to hit.

Although that was what he thought, his body just wouldn’t listen. It very disappointingly crawled over anyway.

Xu Linruan reached out and touched the slightly red spot on his forehead. Her gaze lingered over his face, and under the boy’s expectant eyes, she gently kissed him. Xu Linruan glanced at him.

She saw the way he bit his lip, forced down the restless little thoughts in his head, and slowly crawled under the blanket to the other side. Then he said cautiously, “I’ll just sleep right next to you. I definitely won’t touch you. Is that okay?”

Xu Linruan was a little surprised. She didn’t know when this guy had become so well-behaved. Hadn’t this carefree young master always only cared about his own feelings?

The careful look in his eyes was truly rare. He was still hesitating as he looked at her, seeming like even a mighty, imposing young master had finally learned to be good.
