“Ruanruan… why did you wake up?”

His hoarse voice held a lazy, tired lilt. Qi Yue’s hand, looped around her waist, stroked her gently for a moment before he lifted his head from the back of her neck.

Xu Linruan realized something. After eating this guy up, he had gotten even more clingy. She had thought he was already clingy enough before, but now he was pure human glue, refusing to let go for even a second.

She patted the arm locked around her waist. “Let go. You’re holding me too tight.”

Qi Yue loosened his grip a little. Half his face was still buried near her neck as he breathed in softly, catching the faint fragrance on her body. His voice turned warm and coaxing. “Okay, I loosened up. You were too tired last night, so you need to rest properly now.”

Xu Linruan firmly pushed his head away. “Easy for you to say. You knew someone was tired, and you still kept clinging on?”
