MZ ⋆ Chapter 4
by 🐳ᴍᴀᴍᴀ_ᴡʜᴀʟᴇʏ“Huff… huff… huff.” Under the scorching sun, the orderly female soldiers on the training ground were sweating profusely. The dazzling sunlight pierced through layers of barriers, and under the transmission through the air, their skin was being burnished into a wheat-brown color.
“Alright, stop. Take a break.” Gu Runze, who had led the group in completing ten laps, adjusted his breathing with slight pants, then walked over to a rest chair and picked up a towel to wipe away the sweat continuously pouring from his body.
“Wow, the General’s figure is so good.” A new recruit sitting on the ground wiped the sweat from their neck with a towel while sneaking glances at Gu Runze’s physique.
They even raised their arm to nudge their teammate, gesturing for them to look at Gu Runze’s body.
“If you trained hard, you might end up with half the General’s presence.” The teammate swept their eyes over the new recruit with a teasing gaze.
“Hey, what’s with that look? If I…”
“Commander, it looks like your wish is about to come true.” The female soldiers saw the adjutant approaching with a smile and immediately fell silent, each one lowering their head to stare at the nonexistent ants on the ground.
Joking aside, if the General was a demon when it came to training, then Adjutant Wei was a smiling tiger. Don’t let his cheerful smile fool you. When it came to drilling new recruits, he was even more terrifying than the General.
“Hmm?” Gu Runze turned around, looking at his adjutant with confusion.
“Tsk tsk tsk, looks like the General will need to coax someone for a while. Such a blockhead.” The adjutant pulled out a familiar terminal from behind his back.
“What are you doing with my terminal?” Gu Runze reached out and took the terminal from Wei, his brow slightly raised. He didn’t even lift his eyelids as he glanced at the adjutant, thinking to himself, “What’s wrong with this guy today? Did he take the wrong medicine?”
“Take a look yourself. My dear little alpha is waiting for me to go home and cook!” After handing the terminal to Gu Runze, the adjutant left the training ground with a quick step and a smile.
“Yesterday’s alpha was just too charming. I couldn’t help myself… well, what can you do, a male soldier who just got a taste of it…”
“I wonder if the alpha has woken up yet. When I get back, I’ll have to coax my little alpha well, or else I won’t be able to sleep holding the fragrant alpha tonight. What a sweet burden!”
Sunlight fell upon Wei’s pair of sharp brown eyes, filled with a joyful starlight. Gu Runze didn’t bother looking at the soldier drowning in the sour smell of love anymore. He looked at what message had come to the terminal.
At Wei’s home at this moment, the alpha with chestnut-brown curly hair draped along his temples had just woken up and was leaning against the headboard. The blanket had slid down, exposing a chest covered in marks, decorated all over with bruises and purple marks. Especially at the neck, there wasn’t a single undamaged spot. It was absolutely tragic.
“Ah, I’m so sore. If Wei does this again tonight, I won’t be an alpha anymore.” At this moment, the alpha was venting his displeasure like a cat with its fur standing on end. Beneath the bristling hair, his face still held a blush, as if he’d drunk red wine, making one want to draw near.
“Damn it, I shouldn’t have agreed to register with him in the first place. He got what he wanted and now he doesn’t treasure it.” Recalling how he’d been pleading with the male soldier on top of him all last night, while he kept saying “okay, okay, okay” but never stopped moving.
“How dare he bully this Highness! If I can’t beat him, I can certainly hide from him. This Highness is leaving this place and never coming back!”
Having said that, he immediately got out of bed. He had to hurry and escape. “Otherwise, when that person comes back, with my small frame, I won’t be able to compete anyway.”
Actions matched words. The alpha wrapped the blanket around his body and rushed toward the bathroom. (Why go to the bathroom? Well, this Highness naturally wants to leave beautifully. Ah! This dog Wei, he was too rough. My body feels like it doesn’t belong to me anymore.)
