An Chi continued, “Since my brother’s coming back, I also need to take care of my younger brother’s situation.”

    Yan Dun looked completely bewildered.

    “You have another younger brother?”

The older brother was named An Zao (“Early”), and this one was named An Chi (“Late”). If there was another younger brother, what would he even be called?

    “An Too Late”?

Seeing Yan Dun’s shock, An Chi explained:

“Not my biological brother. My cousin.”

“Oh, so the young master cousin,” Yan Dun finally understood.

“You’ve heard of Chen Jiangchen, right?” An Chi asked with the expression of someone clearly convinced that everyone on earth knew him.

Yan Dun, however, had never heard of him.

But since his boss looked so certain, Yan Dun could only force himself to nod.

“Ah, yes, of course. I know him.”

An Chi said, “Good. Then you know what to do.”

    “…I know.”

    I know my ass.

Afterward, Yan Dun secretly searched the name “Chen Jiangchen” online and discovered he really should have known him.

Chen Jiangchen was yet another one of the Mary Sue heroine’s admirers in this domineering CEO world.

As a male supporting character obsessed with the heroine, he naturally came equipped with outrageous settings too:

Chen Jiangchen was an award-winning actor with godlike beauty. He debuted at sixteen, became famous from his very first production, immediately won Best Actor, and had enjoyed a perfectly smooth career ever since.

    This year he was eighteen.

And had finally encountered his first major obstacle in life:

    The college entrance exams.

The task An Chi gave Yan Dun was:

“Find Jiangchen a tutor. Make him study properly, otherwise my brother will ask about his grades when he gets back!”

    Yan Dun almost laughed.

So even wealthy young masters and teenage movie stars were still afraid of adults asking about their homework?

Then another thought occurred to him:

Why would An Zao care enough to ask Chen Jiangchen about his grades? Was An Zao secretly his homeroom teacher or something?

To satisfy his curiosity, Yan Dun questioned the system again.

The system provided a more detailed character background:

Chen Jiangchen’s parents had died young.

In other words, he was an orphan raised by his maternal grandmother, who happened to be the matriarch of the An family.

So although his surname was Chen, he had grown up in the An household as the “young master cousin.” He never lacked food or clothing, but ultimately he was still living “under someone else’s roof.”

Unable to tolerate the mockery and cold treatment from difficult relatives, Chen Jiangchen entered the entertainment industry at a very young age to earn money and free himself from that dependent lifestyle.

    Yan Dun was speechless.

A wealthy young master wanting to make money—and the first thing he thinks of is entering show business?

    The system answered cheerfully:

“That’s just how novels are nowadays~ chu!”

Yan Dun was too exhausted to argue anymore.

Fine, fine. In this world, settings outrank logic.

    The system then prompted:

【Your current mission is to make Mary Sue become Chen Jiangchen’s tutor for all subjects.】

    Yan Dun nearly choked.

A rich young master needs tutoring, and instead of hiring famous subject experts, they’re assigning a fourth-year secretarial studies student to teach every subject?

    The system answered brightly again:

“That’s just how novels are nowadays~ chu!”

    Yan Dun sighed.

That’s my fault. Why am I still trying to apply logic?

And so, Yan Dun arranged for Mary Sue to become Chen Jiangchen’s full-subject tutor.

Saturday morning, Yan Dun drove to XX University’s dormitory to pick Mary Sue up and bring her to the An family mansion.

Sitting in the car, Mary Sue looked extremely nervous.

    In novel terms:

“She was as nervous as a startled little rabbit, her eyes bright and moist like a frightened deer’s, making one instinctively want to protect her.”

Meanwhile, Yan Dun’s actual thoughts were:

What kind of Mary Sue are you? Could you maybe have a little more charm? You’ve been around this long already—have you seduced even one domineering CEO yet? At this level, I’d have better odds if I put on a skirt and tried myself!

Yan Dun was getting genuinely anxious, so he secretly messaged Customer Service:

“If Mary Sue successfully conquers the targets, that means I can revive, right?”

    Customer Service replied:

    “Theoretically, yes, Customer~”

Yan Dun became even more depressed.

But this Mary Sue really doesn’t seem very capable…

    Customer Service reassured him:

“Don’t worry, Customer~ The system specially gave Mary Sue a ‘Universal Heartthrob Aura.’ The mission will definitely proceed smoothly.”

Hearing that, Yan Dun had no choice but to place his hopes in the so-called “Heartthrob Aura.”

After arriving at the An family mansion, Yan Dun couldn’t help encouraging her:

“Mary Sue… y-you can do it!”

Mary Sue understood what he meant and nodded firmly.

    “I definitely will!”

    Yan Dun comforted himself internally:

An Chi and Hua Daimao are both billionaire CEOs. Maybe they really are difficult targets. Besides, Hua Daimao might even be gay, so turning him straight wouldn’t be easy either. But Young Master Jiangchen is still young—maybe he’ll be easier to conquer.

The two entered the mansion, where a servant guided them inside.

Yan Dun recognized her immediately: Aunt Zhang, an old longtime servant of the household who held considerable status within the mansion. Even Yan Dun spoke very politely to her.

Remembering An Zao’s upcoming return, Yan Dun asked:

“Aunt Zhang, do you know when Young Master Zao will return?”

“In the next couple of days,” Aunt Zhang answered.

“Oh.” Yan Dun paused before continuing, “That’s good. Young Master Chi talks about him constantly and wants to prepare a gift, but he hasn’t figured out what to give yet. Do you know what Young Master Zao likes?”

Aunt Zhang thought for a moment.

“Young Master Zao has liked money ever since he was little.”

    “…”

    Who doesn’t?

Aunt Zhang led Yan Dun and Mary Sue into Chen Jiangchen’s private study.

Chen Jiangchen was already waiting there.

As expected of a superstar, he was incredibly handsome. Despite his young age, he already possessed sharply sculpted features, a straight nose, deep eyes, and an aura that rivaled even domineering CEOs.

Mary Sue smiled shyly upon seeing him.

    Chen Jiangchen smiled back.

Yan Dun immediately thought: There’s hope!

    Feeling delighted, he said:

“Then I’ll head out first. You two study well.”

    Studying was secondary.

Young love was the real priority.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Yan Dun prepared to leave, only to see Aunt Zhang entering with coffee and snacks.

Mary Sue smilingly accepted the coffee tray—

And immediately spilled coffee all over Chen Jiangchen.

    Yan Dun reflexively blurted out:

“Do you know what you’ve done? One outfit of Young Master Cousin’s costs more than you could afford in a year without eating or drinking!”

Just as Mary Sue was about to start trembling tearfully, Chen Jiangchen spoke first:

“Not that expensive. This one’s from Uniqlo.”

    “…”

So this domineering CEO world has Uniqlo too…?

Since he’d already specified it was Uniqlo, Mary Sue felt too embarrassed to dramatically tremble and cry anymore. That would’ve been overacting.

So she simply apologized more calmly:

    “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…”

“It’s okay.” Chen Jiangchen smiled brightly. “I’ll just go change clothes. Please excuse me for a moment. Teacher and Brother Yan, make yourselves comfortable.”

With that, he left the study.

Mary Sue and Yan Dun stared at each other awkwardly.

    Mary Sue couldn’t help asking:

“So your only line really is ‘a year without eating or drinking,’ huh?”

Yan Dun rolled his eyes at her.

“And your only line isn’t just ‘sorry, I didn’t mean to’?”

Mary Sue rolled her eyes back.

“I have plenty of lines, okay? Stuff like ‘I don’t care about your dirty money,’ ‘So what if you’re rich?,’ ‘What I love is you,’ and ‘He and I are really just friends’… I just haven’t gotten a chance to say them yet…”

Mentioning that gave Yan Dun another headache.

    Yeah.

Mary Sue and the domineering CEOs had made absolutely zero romantic progress.

“Try harder. I’m going out to get some air.”

Yan Dun left the study too.

He figured he should take this opportunity to leave them alone together.

As Yan Dun stepped outside the room, he suddenly felt something heavy in his hand.

    He looked down—

And discovered he was somehow holding a coffee cup.

    He froze in shock.

“What the hell? Why did I walk out carrying a coffee cup?”

Before he could react, he crashed directly into a solid chest.

    “Ah!”

    He looked up—

And discovered that the freshly changed Chen Jiangchen had once again been drenched head-to-toe by him.

Most importantly, Chen Jiangchen had changed out of his Uniqlo clothes.

    Now he was wearing Hermès.

    “…”

    Yan Dun’s mind completely blanked.

    Chen Jiangchen suddenly laughed softly.

    Yan Dun thought miserably:

I must look incredibly stupid right now. He’s laughing at me.

What Yan Dun didn’t know was that, in Chen Jiangchen’s eyes, he currently looked like:

“A startled little rabbit, his bright moist eyes like a frightened deer’s, making one instinctively want to protect him.”

    Chen Jiangchen smiled gently.

    “Sigh… I guess I’ll go change again.”

Then he turned and headed back toward his room.

Yan Dun remained standing there, increasingly convinced something was wrong.

The first two drink-spilling incidents might have been accidents…

    But this one?

Where the hell did that coffee cup suddenly come from?!

Yan Dun immediately reported the anomaly.

“This has to be a bug, right?”

    Customer Service replied:

    “Customer, we are currently investigating…”

    One minute later.

    Customer Service asked:

“Customer, since transmigrating, have you ever pooped? Or farted?”

    Yan Dun:

    “…No.”

    Customer Service:

“Oh. Then you’re the universally adored bottom protagonist.”

    Yan Dun froze.

    He.

    Froze.

    Completely.

When Yan Dun first arrived in this world, he had found it strange that he never needed to poop or fart.

But after thinking about it, he figured it made sense.

After all, he was just an NPC.

Have you ever seen an NPC take a dump?

But he never could have imagined—

    Yan Dun exploded:

“Wait a second! Isn’t this supposed to be a BG domineering CEO novel?!”

    Customer Service replied:

    “Customer, we are currently investigating…”

    One minute later.

    Customer Service answered:

“Customer, after verification, we discovered that while we previously informed you this was the world of The Domineering CEO Falls in Love With Me, we accidentally overlooked some information.”

“This is actually the BL fanfiction spinoff titled I Slapped the Mary Sue’s Face Swollen.”

After learning the truth, Yan Dun thought:

    Am I allowed to swear?

And shortly afterward, once Mary Sue learned the truth too:

Shouldn’t I be the one allowed to swear?!
